Situated on a six-hectare farm on the island of Öland, The Mirror Institution Residency Programme offers 700 square metres studio space with ceramics facilities, kiln, work spaces, tools and printing press. Plenty of space for fabrication and storage. Several artists have used the facilities for collective workshops and as photographic studios. It has hosted a seminar for 40 people with sleeping arrangements for up to 12 people. There is a public address system and WiFi. The garden is under transformation and contributors are welcome to participate in this grounding experience. There are stables for four horses and plenty of grazing.

The residency is most active in summer, June to September, but available year-round. The Mirror Institution has an extensive network of other residencies, artist run spaces and larger art venues and museums as well as various contacts, artists, locally on Öland and throughout the region. The Mirror Institution is also able to connect artists nationally to Swedish art institutions, and internationally, we are well anchored in the Nordic region and beyond, especially on the African continent.
